Save your energy.
Allah SWT gives us energy every day. When we wake up after sleep, our energy is full, and it is up to us how we use it. We should try to use this energy on challenging work, because the more we use something, the stronger it becomes.
If we want our brain to become better, we need to put it to use in work that requires real thinking and focus. If we want our body to become stronger, we need to challenge it through things like running or going to the gym. In the same way, to make my work sharper and my mind stronger, I try to learn the Quran in a way that challenges my brain instead of doing it mindlessly.
I call this technique 2 + 1 = 3. In this method, I read one page twice before moving to the next page, and then I come back to the previous page again. This way, the first page is read three times. It helps my brain remember better instead of just rushing forward.
It is a powerful concept. Allah SWT has given us brain power and energy, and we should use it to make ourselves better, not weaker. Most people want quick results, but real growth always takes patience.
I noticed that many big brands keep using the same simple packaging again and again. They don’t waste energy thinking about small things like bags or cloth. They save their mental energy for the thinking work that actually matters. This idea made a lot of sense to me.
There are two types of energy: mental and physical. When we do mental work, it uses mental energy. When we do physical work, it uses physical energy. If we mix both too much at the same time, we end up getting tired mentally and physically.
Small wins win the game.Celebrate small successes. It is like going to prayer on time — it may feel small, but it is actually a big success. Otherwise, we may slowly start feeling self-doubt or impostor syndrome.
