Notes Day 6 Arabic Class
📚✨ Today I learned an important topic in Arabic grammar: Capacity of the Noun.
In Arabic, nouns are divided into two main types:
🔹 First: Common NounA noun that refers to something general or non-specific, such as: book, city, student.
🔹 Second: Proper NounA noun that refers to a specific or definite entity. It is further divided into seven types:
1️⃣ Proper Name (e.g., Muhammad, Fatimah, Makkah)2️⃣ Demonstrative Pronoun (e.g., this, that)3️⃣ Relative Pronoun (e.g., who, which, that)4️⃣ Personal Pronoun (e.g., he, she, we)5️⃣ Noun with “Al-” (the definite article) (e.g., the book, the school)6️⃣ Noun in a Possessive Construction (e.g., the student’s book)7️⃣ Specific Vocative Noun (e.g., O Muhammad)
It was a very useful lesson and helped me understand noun types more deeply. ✍️📖Learning never stops!
