Hadith Sharif
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“No one has ever eaten better food than that which he eats as a result of the work of his own hands.”(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 2072)
Brief Explanation:
This Hadith highlights the honor and dignity of working with sincerity and self-effort. Islam encourages earning through lawful (halal) means and values hard work over dependence on others. Whether the work is physical or intellectual, honest effort brings blessings (barakah) and self-respect. The Prophet ﷺ himself worked and emphasized that labor is not something to be ashamed of but a form of worship when done with the right intention.
