Hadith Sharif
Hadith
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will have only what he intended.”
Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 1; Sahih Muslim
Explanation
This Hadith teaches that the value of any action in Islam depends primarily on the intention behind it. A good deed done sincerely for Allah brings reward, even if the outcome isn’t perfect. Likewise, an action done for showing off or worldly gain loses its spiritual worth. The Hadith reminds us to purify our hearts, ensure our efforts are sincere, and focus on pleasing Allah rather than seeking recognition from people. It highlights that real success in both this world and the hereafter begins with a pure and meaningful intention.
