Data Analytics Project 18 : Power BI Marketing Report
This is a comprehensive Marketing Analytics Dashboard designed to transform customer data into actionable business intelligence. By analyzing demographics, income patterns, and purchase behaviors, this report empowers marketing teams to move beyond gut feelings and make truly data-driven decisions regarding customer segmentation and campaign optimization.
The analysis reveals a highly educated customer base, with over 88% of clients holding a Graduation degree or higher. A key highlight is the income-to-education correlation, where PhD holders lead with an average income of $56K. Furthermore, the data shows that "Married" and "Together" groups form the core of the business, representing over 64% of the total customer population, which is vital for targeted household marketing.
On the performance front, the report tracks critical KPIs such as campaign response rates (currently at 14.91%) and channel distribution. While physical stores remain the dominant purchase channel at 46.18%, digital platforms—Web and Catalog—now account for a combined 53.82% of sales. Product-wise, Meat Products are the clear leader, capturing over 55% of customer spending and anchoring the brand’s product portfolio.
This project utilized Power BI, Power Query, and DAX to clean and visualize complex datasets into a user-friendly interface. From identifying high-value groups to uncovering gaps in campaign responsiveness, this dashboard serves as a strategic roadmap for improving ROI and deepening customer engagement.
