I’m excited to share my latest Power BI project: the Data Survey Report Dashboard, built to analyze global data professionals’ demographics, salary trends, programming language preferences, and career challenges. This project focuses on turning raw survey data into clear, decision-ready insights that reflect real workforce patterns across the data industry.
The single-page dashboard highlights key KPIs such as total number of volunteers, average age of participants, and average salary by job designation. It also breaks down country of residence using a treemap, compares salaries across roles with shaded bar charts, and shows preferred programming languages through multi-category bar visuals.
To better understand career experiences, the dashboard includes a donut chart showing the difficulty of breaking into the data field and gauge visuals measuring satisfaction with salary and working environment. These indicators help stakeholders quickly assess sentiment, challenges, and overall satisfaction levels within the data community.
This project is designed for HR and talent acquisition teams, data and analytics managers, academic institutions, and workforce planning teams. It demonstrates how Power BI can deliver concise, interactive, and executive-level insights from survey data, supporting smarter talent strategy and skills planning across the global data ecosystem.
