Journaling with Lesson 11
The thinking mind only holds meaningless thoughts. As these thoughts are projected outward into the world you think you see, the visual world becomes a reflection of these thoughts. We have discussed before how these meanderings are centered on every perception that Source cannot ultimately be – either in form or content. The beliefs in blame, shame, guilt and lack, loss or limitation are the general themes of these thoughts.
Today, as you practice the lesson, utilizing time to look about you, notice how each of these objects contain similar subjects as noted. No object or body lasts forever nor is in perfect form. Everything has a condition or story attached. Every condition has a deeper threat, risk or cause for fear, protection or defense. Even the so called insignificant has its conditions.
For example, maybe you are looking around your bedroom upon first waking in the morning. Do not the items all about you have their conditions or needs? The furniture needs to be dusted. The floor cannot be allowed to be scratched. Certain cleaning supplies must be used within a certain frequency. Furthermore, who holds the responsibility to do these tasks? When the tasks are overlooked or unshared amongst those people in the household, what judgments then arise? Do not emotions such as resentment and frustration come through these meanings implied? And so on... oh, how much discontent can arise within from ‘just a piece of furniture.’ The next thing you know, you see a world of burden, stress, frustration, disagreement and disappointment. Add any other object to this mass of meaningless perceptions and not but all hell will break loose!
Ah, how so quickly life’s experiences can go to hell by simply looking upon a hand basket! (Smile) Today we once again call attention to the valueless ways the thinking mind judges and perceives. Here, by then choosing to look, wait and judge not, we can more clearly see the meaninglessness of these presumptions. We are then taking a simple gap to no longer project the story with an automated mindset (as may have been done prior to this lesson’s teaching). See the furniture and instead of instantly asking who dusted that last and if not, why not, we see simply a piece of furniture. Back into neutrality. Back into clearly seeing beyond the thinking mind. Here, we simply look and instead of seeing the story, we see both the meaninglessness of the story and the meaning-giver.
This practice takes us one step away from the thought. The practice has you go from instant thinker, receiver and believer to simple observer. The one who is aware is not deceived! By looking, with an opening mind, recognizing the stream of lunacy playing forward, we take back the control. Body-time-self can no longer can be victim of the thinking mind when simply choosing to notice the thinking mind’s cacophony and peacefully recognizing ‘hell? No.’ Hear the noise for what distraction and displacement it is. Recognize the thinking mind’s disruption and distortion. Declare these meanings as meaningless by inviting another Way through One Who Actually Knows comparatively (so to speak – because Truly there is no comparison).
Beloved, are you merely the person stuck on a hamster wheel of tasks, responsibilities and resentments? Or are You the Beloved Child of Source who in time seems to be living in a world of abject conditions which need not be defined by a wandering mind? Which mindset does you more peaceful being? Does this mean that in form the dust won’t accumulate? No. The physical world has conditions projected and assumed even before the wandering eye presumes them. Again, we are looking back in time – not forward. Nonetheless, you can “whistle while you work.” You can choose to see opportunities for neutrality. Dare you see unlimited joy, even with dusting cloth in hand! Realize this possibility and every presumed burden becomes a gift through the invitation to more joyful reimagining. This is the Happy Dream.
Beloved wanderer, through these lessons, we are seemingly working our way through life by unworking or unlearning these mindsets. We are choosing the joyful perceiver. We are releasing all that is understood, given over to the eyes of forgiveness. Here, a greater ease comes to our attention and restful nature to our daily lives. Here, as we look, wait and judge not, the world becomes our playground and no longer our prison. Oh, the wonder your wandering eyes can begin to see when the edges of Light begin to appear!
As always, Love has You in its comforting Arms today as we look together upon a world beginning to be reimagined in Love over fear, trust over terror and welcoming over weakness. This day shall be one of many where your eyes begin to open towards Reality instead of tightly restrained against your True Self. This is Good News! We walk together with Source by Our Side, having never ultimately left the garden. Your newfound joy is My own, seen through your eyes as limitless reimagining and no longer perceiving with distress.
Today’s practice is one of beginning ease instead of restriction. See again the meaning-giver and resulting meaninglessness as an opportunity for forgiveness instead of distraction. The idea is not to weigh down your thinking mind but to begin to lift it up by introducing a newfound love language to the prior dirge of fear. Choose again, Beloved. Simply choose again.
Breathe deeply into this moment, easing the edges of anxiety that may begin to arise as the thinking mind starts to perceive these practices as a threat upon its well-being (btw, it is). The deeply felt tremors within your heart center are a sign of the prior foundations cracking. The thinking mind once set its reliance all that it thought to know; but, now begins to reveal doubts. “How can these judgments not be true, when I see them with my very own eyes!!?” Ahhh, breathe and rest for a moment, Beloved. Let the thoughts come, not to be believed; but, simply witnessed, so that they can be released. Such, Good News today as we walk on together, no longer upon rocky shores; but, towards broader and brilliant Horizons.
Love has You now and forever. Do not doubt this through eyes that cannot See or a thinking mind that cannot Know. You remain changeless as Source Created You. Breathe and rest here, with this Awareness instead of the cacophony of rising questions and demands. This confusion need not be your tormentor and will. Breathe. Rest, accept and trust – not through the eyes or thinking mind, but simply through and beyond any thought that asks to lead you astray.
My meaninglessness thoughts are showing me a meaningless world. Be still and know that here not but all possibilities for Knowing Thyself once more exist before you. Trust in this renewed Awareness. Be confident in the Love You Are and not the sights that are seen. Joy unto you today. We join together and simply choose again. You got this!
