How to pray for my grandson

My 2 1/2 year old grandson was admitted to the hospital last night with a lung infection. How does one pray for another while using the teachings of ACIM? I found myself directing God to heal him last night but as I realized what I was doing I chose again and just offered my love and light as he dealt with whatever he was going through. Then I imagined our minds meeting and sharing love.

What do you guys do when someone you love is hurting?
