Do you think it's easy or difficult to live with friends? Why? There's a saying that familiarity breeds contempt, and I think there's a lot of truth in it. Everyone is unique and has their own lifestyle. Sometimes people subconsciously expect their close friends to accept every part of who they are, but that's not always realistic. Take me for example. When I traveled with my best friend, we shared a hotel room. One evening, she put the phone on speaker while talking to her son and even asked me to chat with him. I like her son, but I was exhausted and just wanted to get some rest. Since the room wasn't very big, their voices filled the whole room. I told her I'd rather wait outside until she finished talking, but she looked at me in surprise, as if I were being unreasonable. That experience made me realize that even the best of friends can have very different habits. I enjoy spending time with my friends, but I don't think I'd want to live under the same roof with them.
