An intense dust storm, known as a "haboob," recently swept through parts of Texas and New Mexico, creating an eerie landscape reminiscent of the sci-fi movie "Dune." These sudden storms occur when thunderstorms collapse in desert regions, producing massive dust walls with zero visibility and winds reaching up to 65 mph.

2. Unexploded WWII Bomb Discovered Under French Train Tracks

Workers near Paris's Gare du Nord uncovered a massive unexploded World War II bomb beneath train tracks, leading to significant travel disruptions. The 1,100 kg bomb, containing approximately 500 kg of explosives, prompted evacuations and halted Eurostar services. Bomb disposal experts were called in to safely defuse and remove the device.
