Leaving Wall Street to Save Lives
I like to test my progress reading in English from time to time.
To be honest I have "Smurfed" a few sentences and a few words
Yesterday, I bought the New York Times, I rarely buy it, I read a positive very interesting article .
Jonathan Kleisner, a former financial director, left a successful career on Wall Street to become a paramedic with the New York Fire Department (FDNY). After almost 20 years in finance, he felt a sense of uselessness. At the age of 41, he made the radical decision to change his path. He trained to become an Emergency Medical Technician ) EMT, then progressed to become a paramedic . He is also an instructor within the unit. Kleisner said he found a new meaning in his life by helping and saving lives, despite the often-traumatic nature of his work.
"money can't buy happiness."
