Private high schools in the USA
There are three main types of high schools in the USA: public, private, and charter schools. Private schools are typically the most expensive because they do not receive government funding and must cover their costs through tuition and donations.
Private schools often offer smaller class sizes and more specialized or enriched programs, and they tend to invest heavily in facilities and education resources.
Last month, I attended an orientation with my close friends for their children at Deerfield Academy, one of the most prestigious private schools in the country. The campus was stunning.
