English Idioms
I'm trying to learn English idioms every day, but I'm not entirely sure if my understanding of them is correct. I'd like to share what I've learned here and hope that you can point out any mistakes or provide guidance.
"Break a leg!"
It means “Good luck!”
This phrase is often used to wish someone success before a performance or a challenging situation. It's believed to have originated in the theater, where it was considered bad luck to wish someone "good luck" directly.
