Living Off the Land
Use this category to discuss foraging, food production and preservation techniques. There are some really experienced growers in this group already, and from different climates too, so I'm looking forward to seeing how we can encourage one another through the coming year. I often sow peas in January. Right now the ground is frozen , so I wont, but I will be sprouting peas on my kitchen window sill, for pea shoots, which I'll either eat or plant out.

Hello, I’m Chloe
Hello, my name is Chloe. I live in southern Spain, working with Mediterranean dryland permaculture and documenting what actually works in a harsh, water-scarce climate. That land-based practice shapes a lot of what I create. I’m also building a series of permaculture-focused guided visualisations to help people stay grounded, reconnect with themselves and the land, and move toward the life they want to build. You can explore the current visualisations here: Little Green Visualisation Library I look forward to sharing experiences and learning alongside you all.
