If you've ever wondered why you get a number of in-bound messages after putting on your open to work to recruiters (behind the scenes), this is an example email I received for a saved 'candidate'. And this supports why LinkedIn suggest being open to work will drive more in-bound activity. See image below.

SSI Index Scores
Is anyone else seeing an improvement in their LinkedIn SSI score after following the advice here? Mine has improved from 50 to 55 (from top 6% in industry to top 2%) in the last month. Thanks again @David Stevens
Shameless Ask - 'Endorsements'
Ask - using the link below, would you be able to 'endorse' me for any of my skills? https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-stevens-fcma-cgma/details/skills/ Context - LinkedIn have recently refreshed their algorithm to something called "Brew 360". The long and short, is that they are trying to make content more relevant to people. Having attended a webinar today the speak had a statistic about how often the platform was "searched" to find skills and people. For example, in the world of recruitment, if you type in "Finance Recruitment" or "Finance Recruiter" I need to get myself up the list (ideally be number one) and one method to improve this is through skills endorsements and LinkedIn testimonials which feature these phrases. Hopefully this explain the why and the request. PS. It's also good to know, we're all in the same boat trying to improve our visibility on a digital platform!

LinkedIn is growing at ~11k people per week
It’s reported that LinkedIn is growing by 11k people per week globally. Malcolm has just joined LinkedIn UK and whilst his profile isn’t to my Bootcamp standard, it’s significantly better than the average LinkedIn profile. And a good effort!
