About 70% of your rotation comes from your thoracic spine… So when it’s stiff? Your body starts forcing movement somewhere else. 👉 Twist the wrong way → tweak your back 👉 Turn quick → neck pain 👉 Train hard → shoulders take the hit That “random” pain? Not random. 💡 What’s really going on Your thoracic spine is built to rotate and extend. If it can’t… your lower back and shoulders pick up the slack. ASSESS YOUR SQUAT Usually its not just a strength problem… It's a positioning problem! Before you add weight… assess your squat 👇 📸 (Front / Side / Back views) Here’s what to look for: ⬇️ Depth: Can you hit at least parallel… or preferably even deeper? If not → something’s tight or not doing its job correctly. 🦵 Knees: Tracking over toes—not caving in. Knees push forward = good ankle mobility. Knees collapsing = weak links (usually hips/glutes). 🧍 Chest Position: Chest stays proud—not folding forward. If you’re dumping forward → your body’s compensating. 🧠 Core: Braced and stable—not loose at the bottom. Your core controls the entire movement. 👣 Feet: Stay grounded. No rocking, no collapsing arches. Your foundation matters more than you think. 💥 Real Talk: If your squat is off… 👉 Your movement is off 👉 Your lifts are off 👉 Your body takes a beating This isn’t just a gym exercise… 👉 It’s how you sit 👉 It’s how you stand 👉 It’s how you move through life 👊 Fix the pattern → everything improves Drop a comment or take a look at your own squat today and post an assessment!
