Had an interesting coaching call yesterday...
One of my clients was struggling with sales.
But here's the weird part...
We ended up talking about relationships instead.
Why?
Because sales are EXACTLY like relationships.
Here's what I mean...
Imagine walking up to someone on a first date and asking:
“So...are we gonna get married or what?”
You’d run a mile
Yet that's what most coaches do on sales calls.
They show up basically saying:
“It's 2 grand. If you're wasting my time, tell me now…”
And then wonder why prospects run for the hills.
Truth is...
Whether it's love or business...
The moment you start obsessing over the "outcome"...
Is the moment you kill your chances of getting it.
Instead, focus entirely on:
* Making sure you're connected
* Being truthful
* Allowing vulnerability
* Actually enjoying the process
That's what sets up your best chances.
Think about your best relationships...
They didn't start with someone PUSHING for commitment.
They started with intrigue… connection… and trust.
Same goes for sales.
Remember this:
The sale, like love, happens in the space between two people connecting authentically.
Everything else is just desperation in disguise.
