Having “experience" means nothing if...
So a while back I had these two ladies join my coaching program at the exact same time.
Both in the same niche.
One had 25+ years of experience... tons of social proof... deep background knowledge.
While the other was just starting out.
But here's what happened...
The one with all the experience just couldn't transition her work to doing it online.
She wasn't willing to adapt to the new way of doing things.
And so she crumbled.
Meanwhile, the "newbie" was already doing 14-hour days.
She was willing to put in the work... transition out of her old schedule... and do whatever it took.
And she crushed it.
Look...
I'm not saying experience isn't valuable.
But I see this ALL THE TIME in the coaching world.
People think they need decades of experience before they can help anyone.
Or they rest on their laurels because they've "been there, done that."
But that's not how it works.
I know a guy in a traditional career, who’s super intelligent.
Works till 9pm every night.
Has tons of experience.
But he's stuck on a 40k salary.
His wife barely sees him.
And he's getting unhealthy.
Because intelligence and experience aren't enough.
It's about being willing to adapt.
Being willing to put in the work.
Being willing to do what others won't.
That's what separates those who make it from those who don't.
So if you're sitting there thinking "I don't have enough experience to start coaching"...
Or worse... thinking your experience alone will carry you...
Remember these two ladies.
And ask yourself:
“Which one do I want to be?”
