Hi all, excited to be here! Intro post and questions for you.
Frustrated and burnt-out corporate employee, manager, business owner – I’ve been all three.
After 15 years in big corporate and 5 years as an entrepreneur and small business owner I'm now going back to my psychology roots and launching a coaching business. I know from being a business builder and owner how lonely and isolating it can be. It's brilliant to have a community to interact and learn with.
My aim in 2024 is to 'eat my own dog food' as one of my old managers used to say, and as such I'm taking the time to follow the coaching principles I teach. First up - reviewing my values for 2024 and setting some small and meaningful goals and habits - e.g - being authentic in all the posting/communications i do and even simple things (for my 'order' value) like doing my to do list each morning before i even check my emails.
What are your processes for 'New Year Resolutions' (I hate the term but the concept of fresh start is a good one).
