Back to china
@Jeffrey Cappella China has been brought up a number of times in the discussion group. Each question centers around a main theme: is China capable of throwing the overthrowing. Since not everyone here attends, I thought I would open this up on the discussion board. I’m sure you could go down a rabbit hole of information on this one, but can you maybe make a brief list of the real threats China may pose, and then a few reasons why they may not? Specifically, I think the concern is weapons or technologies that China may lend to the IRGC that may pose risk to both American/Israeli troops, AND Iranians on the ground. I’m attaching a video that the IRGC put out, not because I believe anything in it lol but just to show where they are at in their claims.
I’m interested in hearing different perspectives—especially where people disagree but can still respect each other.
Do you think government’s main role should be protecting individual freedom, or stepping in more to solve social and economic problems?
"I am Zeus" - "the political equations in Iran changed!"
This one probably interest Iranians here the most, but others can understand it by turning on closed captions ('CC', opposite play-button). I just got this one popping up at my homepage. Kinda amusing with the cartoonish style, but at the moment only have time&inclination to skip-skim, but here's an excerpt, I think pertain to pro-Shah, and the rest (but I don't really know) 7:00 "There's no point having any dialogue, debate, or argument between supporters of both sides." ,,, ",,, we're blood enemies" I'm tempted to assume there are sentiments in this vid, Armin is familiar with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3i7HqfFegA
