The West Thinks It’s Fighting a Religion. It’s Not.

Growing up in Iran, I saw the "Great Satan" painted on the walls of my school. The regime depicted Israel as the Little Satan and America as the Big Satan.

Most Westerners look at this imagery and see emotional hysteria or a simple clash of cultures. They are making a fatal mistake.

The hatred is not emotional. It is structural.

You must understand that politics and Islam are inseparable. It is not just a religion. It is a World Order. It is a complete legal, political, and social framework intended to govern the earth.

For that new order to rise, the current one must fall.

The current global order is maintained by American power. The US military is the physical infrastructure holding the modern world together.

This is why the regime uses the term "Great Satan." It is not just an insult. It is a precise technical definition. To the Islamist strategist, America is the primary blocker. It is the concrete wall stopping the establishment of global Islamic rule.

They don't hate the West because of its freedoms or its culture. They hate it because it occupies the space they believe belongs to them.

They are not wrong in their assessment. As long as the American order stands, their vision cannot exist.

It is a zero-sum game.
