Airyanem Vaejah (Avestan: π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬₯π¬π¬¨βΈ± π¬¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬΅, romanized:Β AiriianΙm VaΔjah; Middle Iranian: ΔrΔn-wΔz; New Iranian: Ψ§ΫΨ±Ψ§ΩβΩΫΨ¬, romanized:Β ErΔn-wΔj; Iranian Pahlavi Language: AryΔnwΔΕΎan, 'the Arya Expanse') is considered in Zoroastrianism to be the homeland of the early Iranians (Aryans) and the place where Zarathustra received the philosophy and spirituality from Ahura Mazda. The Avesta also names it as the first of the "sixteen perfect lands" that Ahura Mazda created for the Iranians (Aryans).
Based on these descriptions, modern scholarship focused on Airyanem Vaejah in an attempt to determine the homeland of the Iranians or Indo-Iranians in general coming from the Iranian Eurasian Sintashta Civilization to the Iranian Plateau (Aryan Plateau) of an Indo-European Origin.
