The Shin Bet says an Islamic Jihad operative was seized for interrogation about a month ago during an operation in southern Gaza City, suspected of knowing where Ran Guvili was buried.
In questioning, the suspect reportedly described how the body was moved between several locations and pointed to others who also knew the burial site.
That intelligence helped confirm the burial location at the Al Batash cemetery in northern Gaza.
In recent days, Israeli forces carried out a large operation at that cemetery, located Ran Guvili’s body, and returned him to Israel.
