Looking for an answer
All 3 religions break the week in 7 days. The Jewish religion considers the start of a day at sundown and the day ends at the next sundown. Both the Christian and Islamic religions consider the day from one midnight to the next midnight.
I can see how the Jewish structure worked clearly and did not need a clock. How did the Christian and Islamic religions know when it is midnight when there were no clocks of any kind?
