Civil Liberties & Government Power
I’ve been thinking a lot about how much power people believe the government should have over their daily lives. Some argue that strong central authority is necessary for stability, while others believe individual liberty should always take priority.
I’m curious where everyone here draws the line.
At what point does government involvement shift from protection to overreach?
And how do we balance personal freedom with collective responsibility in a way that actually works for real people?
Would love to hear different perspectives.
