Oil pastel experiment
Once upon a time… yes, long time ago when I was curious about using different art materials, I bought a lot of oil pastels, but to tell you the truth, they failed to convince me to become a better artist. I have a lot of used oil pastels that have been neglected and I am now giving them a second chance. There are now many artists who are specialized in oil pastels on Instagram, their works are eye opening to me. Instead of trying to recycle my old used pastels, that I found not too easy to use, I bought a box set of 50 colours oil pastels from Amazon. I tried to use these like most of the artists do, smudge the colours to make it look like an oil painting, but it is not really my style because I prefer the oil paintings in loose brushworks such as the portraits of John Singer Sargent. I have done some small study of kittens and puppies, then here I show my latest work of two cats sleeping together. I will be happy to hear from you on my work, any opinions or questions are welcome. Happy paintings, my friends! Midori

Intro - Nice to virtually meet you!
Hi 👋🏼 I’m Jeff. Excited to be here with fellow creatives. My background is in traditional drawing and painting, and I’m now exploring how to integrate digital and AI tools through a human-centered design lens. I hold a BA in Fine Arts from Pepperdine and an MFA in Visual Development from Academy of Art in San Francisco. Looking forward to connecting and growing together. Start the Week with Clarity
A lot of businesses start their week reacting to fires instead of driving growth. This week, take a moment to ask yourself: • What’s the one metric that will move my business forward? • What system can I put in place to make it predictable? • What’s a task I’m doing that doesn’t directly impact results and can be delegated or paused? Growth isn’t about doing more it’s about doing the right things consistently. What’s your focus for this week?

What If Traffic Isn’t the Real Problem?
A lot of businesses think they need more traffic…when what they really need is better conversion. - You can run ads. - You can post every day. - You can get clicks. But if your website isn’t clear, simple, and built to guide people, they leave. And most times, it’s small things: - The message isn’t clear. - The offer feels vague. - There’s no real direction on what to do next. - No proper follow-up. So the answer becomes “let me get more traffic.” But more traffic to a confusing website just means more missed opportunities. Quick question: If someone lands on your site right now, would they immediately understand: who it’s for, what problem you solve, and what step to take next? If you’re not sure, that might be the gap. I’m offering a few free website audits. No pitch. Just straightforward feedback on what could be improved. If you want one, drop “AUDIT” below. And honestly, what do you think is holding your business back right now?
