Prep done for my audit with a Proficompact company. I’m most interested in digging into Quote Creation Process (70% of owners's Time) as I think there could be some serious improvements there! Here is the breakdown.
Primary Business Model
Profi Compact appears to operate as a specialized B2B/B2C contractor in the ventilated facade industry. Their revenue likely comes from:
Material sales + installation packages (primary revenue driver - selling facade materials like HPL panels, fiber cement boards, aluminum composite panels, wood, and WPC, then installing them)
Materials-only sales (which Martin explicitly wants to grow - higher margin, less labor-intensive)
Side ventures in preparation: Real estate services, e-commerce for home decor, scaffolding sales, exterior shading systems
The business model appears to be project-based: each sale involves creating a custom quote, potentially solving technical construction details, and then either delivering materials or doing full installation.
Customer Acquisition
Based on the form, they currently rely on:
Referrals (word-of-mouth from satisfied clients)
SEO (organic search traffic from their website)
Notably absent: Paid advertising, active outbound marketing (which Martin acknowledges they need to start)
Their customers are "solvent investors (family homes/villas), general contractors for larger projects, and developers" - suggesting higher-ticket B2B sales rather than high-volume retail.
