First Make.com workflow build 😍
I’m genuinely so happy with myself for building this project within literally ONE DAY of learning about the basics of Ai automation as in like how to build it and what are the foundations of it etc, i watched Liam Ottley’s YouTube video on how to build & sell AI automations yesterday at like 2AM 😂 and said to myself hold up this is something I’ve always been interested in ( The AI industry) because I’ve always been good at learning things about it and working with it at my own pace of course 💀 so i just genuinely screwed my head on and got to doing it and BOYYYYY I’m I happy with this 😮‍💨 there’s still Build 2 & 3 to try build and I can’t wait 😛

Closed my first client for $1,500 with AI editing
Closed my first client for $1,500. Fulfillment took less than a day. The setup is Claude Code + Remotion. I trained it on one editing style in about a day, and now it edits on its own. 20+ edits overnight with zero input from me. That's what makes it a good thing to sell. The work is fast and my only cost is my Claude subscription. Setup walkthrough here: https://youtu.be/bXAZI-W4xYM For those of you selling AI services, how did you land your first client?

Congrats on The First one Eddie!
What would make me qualify as a developer for AI Automations/Agents?
I am just wondering, what things/tools/services do I need to know and types of automations I need to know how to build to qualify as a developer, even a beginner but still a proper dev. Is it more important to simply know a bunch of different platforms/sites to build from and different types of integrations, API tools? Or rather knowing how to use different tools/sites in general? I assume a mix of both is important, I would like to hear some advice. I would also like to know how I can find clients or businesses, I can mainly target customer-support and lead-generation in a variety of businesses like real-estate and cleaning/renovation.

@Hamza A. yes, both can be useful, but it depends on the business and its problems. Lead qualification is more than collecting contact details. It's about checking whether a lead is a good fit, prioritising serious leads, and making sure the business knows who to follow up with. Real-time notifications are also useful so owners can respond quickly. What type of businesses are you planning to target?

Portfolio Build: AI Solar Lead Qualification & Outbound Voice Agent
What it does: Automatically calls homeowners after they submit a solar savings calculator form on a website. The AI agent personalizes the conversation, qualifies the lead, and collects information that gets stored in Google Sheets. How I built it: Built using Tally, n8n, Retell AI, Lovable, and Google Sheets. - Tally & Lovable: Collects lead information through the website form. - n8n: Triggers an outbound call when a form is submitted. - Retell AI: Calls the lead, uses their name and city, and asks qualification questions. - Google Sheets: Stores the lead’s information and qualification results through n8n. The challenge I solved: Getting the lead’s information from Tally to pass correctly through n8n into Retell AI. I learned how to configure dynamic variables so the agent could personalize the conversation using the customer’s name and city. What I learned: How to connect multiple platforms to build an automated speed to lead system, qualify incoming leads, and organize the collected data without manual work. This is a practice build as I continue developing my AI automation skills. Open to any feedback! Demo:

Nice build! Personalizing the call with the lead’s name and city makes the experience more natural. This kind of speed-to-lead automation can be really useful for solar businesses.
I had a conversation with someone on Zoom on Sunday
He said: I want to start AI venture but I am so confused. Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, every day new tool. Which one should I buy. I said: I don't have subscription for any of those. He said: Then how do you get your work done? I said: My direction is simple right now. So simple free AI tools get my work done. And that is the goal, right? Work gets done. He said: So what should I do first? I said: Know your direction first. Do your work. See where you get stuck. Then ask how AI can help that stuck part. Then look for that one AI. Don't start with AI. He said: Oh, so it comes down to my own work. I said: Exactly. Your work decides your AI. Not AI decides your work. He basically reached out to me over here on Skool. I did not charge for call. I love helping people.
