Why Most People Get Generic Results from ChatGPT (and Why I Don’t)
One thing that has to be understood when people ask me about how I use ChatGPT for business decisions, systems, or strategy is this: 👉 Your ChatGPT has to be trained.
I didn’t just “start prompting.”
I spent months and months training mine—intentionally.
I’ve uploaded:
  • Over 1,000 pages of my own writing
  • Dozens of recorded videos
  • Hundreds of emails
  • Live lecture recordings
  • My DISC, Genius, and personality profiles
Why?
Because ChatGPT doesn’t just need to know what you want - it needs to understand who you are.
How you think
How you communicate in writing vs. live
How you speak to one person vs. an audience
How you make decisions
What drains you vs. what energizes you
Once that foundation is built, everything changes.
Now when I ask questions, the responses are:
  • Aligned with my personality
  • Consistent with my philosophy
  • Grounded in my actual goals
  • Authentic to how I operate in the real world
That’s why the recommendations I get aren’t generic. They’re personalized, practical, and usable.
The key isn’t the prompt.
The key is identity alignment.
Train ChatGPT to understand you at a deep level first — then use it as a thinking partner, not a magic wand.
That’s when it becomes powerful. 🤠🙏🏽
