How long to train
What if I told you that your progress won’t directly correlate with time spent in the gym? 3 resistance training sessions a week of 40 mins is actually enough for health and longevity. An experienced gym goer might manage 6 days but they know how to spread out the muscle groups to allow for recovery. Too much training will just make you plateau with not enough recovery time or time to properly build muscle and for your body to adapt to the demands you’re putting on it. So with all the discipline and great intent, if you train for 4 hours a day, you are setting yourself up for disappointment and failure.

How long to train
What do we prefer?
Group sessions or your own training? I feel like mil are really used to group training sessions. I do love both but training as an individual allows me to have and to meet specific goals.
Army Leadership code- LEADERS
S- Strive for team goals. Prioritise collective objectives over individual ones. What’s our thoughts on this one? I feel maybe parking individuals goals isn’t the best way to get the most out of a team. If they don’t feel valued, this might end up being counter productive in the end.

Who’s the best leader you’ve ever known
Who is the best leader you have ever come across and what quality or behaviour do you want to take away into your own leadership
Army leadership code LEADERS
The Army leadership code has 7 leadership behaviours in the acronym LEADERS L-Lead my example You cannot lead people beyond where you are willing to go yourself. You must be consistent and you will be seen as a leader who ‘walks the walk’ and ‘talks the talk’. It is a bit of a red flag to me when someone is their own boss and their reason is that they could never be told what to do. An important part of leadership is followership and the ability to follow as well as lead. What are people’s thoughts?
