Scenario:
A training partner outweighs you by around 40 pounds and has previously injured you during rolls. You’re trying to train consistently, stay healthy, and keep improving — but you’re unsure how to decline rolling with this person without it becoming awkward, disrespectful, or escalating egos.
How would you handle this?
