🔥 HUGE SHOUT OUT TO MY BROTHER JONAH SHOOK 🔥
Last night my boy got promoted to Purple Belt and I couldn’t be more fired up for him. When y’all see him in the gym, make sure you give him a shout and show him some love. That promotion is 100% earned. 🟪🥋
Jonah and I actually got promoted to Blue Belt on the same night three years ago, and since then we’ve just kept showing up, grinding rounds, and building a real friendship on the mats.
That’s one of the coolest parts of Jiu-Jitsu you don’t just train together, you go through the struggle together. Early mornings, hard rounds, getting smashed, learning, growing… all of it.
And honestly… I knew it was only a matter of time before he hit that next level. Jonah has always been one of those guys who just keeps showing up, keeps putting in the work, and keeps getting better.
Seeing someone you came up with keep climbing is something special.
I’m proud of you brother and grateful for the friendship. Let’s keep rolling and keep getting better.
