Peking Glass
I was thinking about terms folks use incorrectly. Two come to mind as I have a baby sleeping on my chest.
1. Peking Glass.
2. Micro mosaic
Peking glass is layered often showing a white layer in the “carving.” What most call Peking Glass should be called “mottled glass .“
Micro mosaic pieces are very hard to see the tiles and are rare. They’re often museum quality whereas mosaic jewelry you clearly see the tiles—sometimes with empty space between tiles.
