A few things worth knowing about this week, whether you're brand new here or have been around a while. 1. The 5 Days to Improv challenge is live If you're just getting started, this is the place to begin. It's a free step-by-step challenge in the Classroom that takes you from scratch to improvising over a tune, in five simple days. Comment READY on the pinned post and dive in. 2. Free live workshop this Saturday This Saturday at 4pm UK time, I'm running a free live workshop based on the challenge. We'll work through the ideas together in real time, so if you'd rather learn alongside me and other players, come along. Everyone's welcome, whatever your level. 3. Practice Club is open at a special price For a short window I've opened up my weekly Practice Club on its own at $40 a month. It's where the real work happens each week, drilling jazz language properly and getting feedback on your playing. It normally sits inside my top tier, so if you've been thinking about going deeper, now's a good time.
