False Hopes in Other Than Allah
“And they have taken besides Allah other gods so that they might be for them a source of honor.
No! They will deny their worship and will be against them.”
— (Qur’an 19:81–82)
Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said:
“A servant does not attach his hope and reliance to other than Allah إلا he will be disappointed from that direction; and he does not seek support from other than Allah إلا he will be abandoned.”
