Day 2 Homework
This guy created a visual and verbal hook by pretending to be someone else using a high-pitched voice and rolling his eyes while posing the question "why don't you drink anymore" then immediately grabs everyone's attention by stating if he drinks he will do cocaine, line after line. This is a good example of context lean. He lays down the foundation for his video with that question. He also says it kind of aggressively and loud which kept me entertained. He keeps your attention by stating how when he's hung over then he'll do oxy after.
This guy also uses a visual and verbal hook. The visual aspect is him being super jacked, shirt off. Sweaty and full of blood from the pump. Then he reels you in by stating how he used to be addicted to heroin and Crystal meth. For me, this is the type of video that makes you go. If he can do it I can do it too.
Visual hook, a big glass vase filled with popcorn and then a small one that has a little bit of skittles.
The volume difference captured my eyes along with the colors.
Visual and verbal hook here. The visual is the hooker. (There's a joke in there somewhere) he then poses the question. "Would you eat @ss?"
When I saw and heard this, I went "HUH" and immediately caught my attention by looking at the half naked woman along with the crazy question.
This is a contrarian snapback because at the end he goes completely off-topic from what he started with.
This guy uses a verbal hook by telling the audience he is over $50,000 in debt. This one was scroll stop internection. The fact that there was a large amount of money on screen made me stop scrolling and watch.
