New Script (relating from experience): Hook: I used to think I'd get rich online by selling e-books and video courses. Alt. Hook: I wasted months trying to sell ebooks online... and almost nobody bought one. Honestly... I was wrong. I realized everyone and their mom was trying to sell an ebook like it was gold. Now picture me... coming into the game with a hundred followers. There was no way I was going to get rich selling a $15 ebook while competing with people like Alex Hormozi or Tony Robbins. So I said, "Screw it." I started giving away all my books and video courses for free. Instead of trying to make money from information, I focused on building trust. People started seeing the value of what I was teaching. Then something interesting happened... They started asking if I could help them personally. That's when I started selling 1:1 coaching instead of ebooks. I stopped selling information and started selling transformation. That's the same shift I've helped my clients make. They give away their best knowledge for free and charge for helping people actually implement it and get results. Original Script (teaching from a place of authority): Why selling e-books is the dumbest way to try and make money online. Build trust, show people you know your shit, and teach them your actual method for free. Then, take those insights, turn it into a coaching offer. That's where you can actually sell results. Take people one-on-one, by the hand, and they will pay you for the transformation. So stop begging strangers to buy your 50% off e-book. Give that shit away for free, and charge for an actual transformation. That's the difference between pocket change and 5K plus per month.
