Happy New Year!!!
So this New Year began with a decision.
At 12:12 AM, I raised my first invoice to a client I’ve been serving since 2018–19.
Not out of pressure.
Not out of emotion.
But out of clarity.
Because this principle deserves to be known—by the known and the unknown:
" Time and priorities aren’t given — they’re reallocated.
Respect that, or don’t expect it twice."
Service should never be mistaken for free access.
Consistency should never be confused with obligation.
I don’t know if she will pay.
And that’s okay.
The decision wasn’t about the outcome.
It was about the standard.
The price isn’t for the task.
It’s for the priorities set aside to deliver it.
Grateful for the lesson.
Clear for the year ahead.
