Self Doubt is the KEY
I remember when I walked away from my ownership stake in the first shop I co-owned. I was full of doubt because everything I had built until then was under the umbrella of that shop. I thought, "Am I making a mistake?" "Will my clients even follow me?" That moment defined this current season for me because that was the first time I defeated Imposter syndrome as a barber. Years later, as I look back I realize that it was a few decisions and a perspective switch that truly had the difference for me. Self Doubt was the key because once I face that Self-Doubt door and used that Key to unlock it, everything changed! Check out this Masterclass on Imposter Syndrome. I share actionable tips to win and defeat that negative voice holding your back. https://www.skool.com/idealbarbers/classroom/7791205d?md=b5727ef786e24019b1780a714eec3eca

Finding your thing?
I’m curious to know the process people go through determining what they’re “Thing” is they use to focus on when drawing in your clients . I’ve heard many people use the “Chik-fil-A” reference stating they only sell chicken and closed on Sunday but still in high demand. I’ve heard “Smash the Barber” say he focused on designs , fades & beards. Would love to here some examples of anybody else’s process to keying in on their “Thing” they cater too when promoting their barber business.
Brainstorming
Determining my value as more than a barber is key, people would always say “find your thing” and it’s been a challenge! I think I’m getting close.
