I’ve been thinking lately about how much horses teach us without ever saying a word. Every session feels like a mirror showing us patience, presence, timing, and the energy we bring into the space. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that progress with a horse often comes from slowing down, not speeding up. When I focus less on “getting it right” and more on building trust, everything just flows better. I’d love to hear from the community: What’s one thing a horse has taught you that surprised you? This one of my favorite weanlings I’ve owned. She was very skittish when we got her and this was maybe the second time she’d been allowed to “run around” lol but as you can see she thought she was an Arab🤣
