The Horses Connect Model of Equine-Assisted Services is based on horses helping humans grow from the inside-out and reach their full potential, with gold-standard horse welfare at its core. Educator, therapist, youth worker, or simply curious, our model invites you into a unique way of learning through exploration, connection, trust, and the wisdom of horses. The Foundations of the Horses Connect Model is a free, self-paced introduction to our unique approach to equine-assisted coaching.

Equine-Assisted Services are grounded, physical, and real. Artificial Intelligence might seem like the complete opposite. And yet… they’re not so far apart. AI is simply a tool. Like a lead rope or a set of cones. It doesn’t replace the horse, the human, or the magic. This short course explores how these two very different worlds can complement each other in practical, grounded ways to help you organise, reflect, communicate, and build your programs more easily and confidently.

This activity is designed as a fun, imaginative tool for equine-assisted personal development coaches. It is not scientific, psychological, diagnostic, or behaviour-based. All Horses Connect work is grounded in: • presence • ethical partnership • client agency and choice • horse autonomy • experiential learning Within that grounded approach, we sometimes add a light, creative layer to support curiosity, story-building, and gentle insight-finding.

Equine-assisted services bring people and horses together in uniquely powerful ways. Participants are typically living with physical, sensory, intellectual, developmental, or mental-health related challenges. As coaches, we must understand disability through a rights-based, person-centred and horse-centred lens. This is not optional.
