Rejection Season
"That's too expensive for just the front". Yes, that's an obstacle to overcome, but it's more than that. It's a statement that says they don't understand the service. Follow those kinds of rejections with explanations and don't take it as you're charging too much. Stick to your guns as much as you can. Sure, there are reasons for negotiating with a customer. But don't make negotiating your standard protocol. This business requires a lot of market education. Educating your customers about your service and why the price is the price is very important. I'm a big fan of talking to customers on the phone (text at a minimum) before sending a quote - but sometimes it's not possible. I get that. But we also find that the fewer conversations we have with customers before sending the quote - the more "that's too expensive" rejections we get.
