Recently, I saw these two instagram posts that reminded me of some of the experiences I had with the Divine Mother Meditation and Ho'oponopono/Inner Child Meditation.
This video also reminded me of why I feel so deeply and seem to take the hits for everyone in my family, even when I am not sacrificing myself up to do so:

"I was back on my family farm (that we had in NYC when I was a very young child) and each one of my "parents" came up to my 5 year old self and took turns saying the Ho'oponopono prayer to me. One by one they came up to her, looked me in the eyes and said, "I'm sorry, Please forgive me, thank you, I love you." It was such a profound and healing experience.
