The Lazy Person’s Ultimate Guide to Weight Loss
1.) Spend time daily in deep relaxation, at least an hour throughout the day...more if possible. This is a powerful way to balance and decrease the stress hormone cortisol. The more cortisol you have running through your body, the more your body will gain and hold onto weight like there's no tomorrow. 2.) Take longer pauses between your meals. You can do this by eliminating snacking throughout the day, or extending the time between dinner and breakfast. Doesn't have to be the same pause every day, it's actually great to vary it up, but more time pausing between meals will help you lose weight. Some people call this intermittent fasting. Don't matter what you call it. It works by decreasing insulin and countering insulin resistance. Insulin resistance can make weight loss almost impossible. Similar to cortisol...the more insulin you have running through your body, the more your body will gain weight and refuse to let it go. 3.) Start a Food and Mood Journal. Write down everything you eat, and how you felt while eating and afterwards. No judgment, just data. You can use dirty napkins to write it down, or a fancy journal. Don't matter, just write it. No need to analyze, or think about it after you write it. Simple, straightforward, just write it down. Anything we bring awareness to, we naturally and automatically start to change for the better. As long as we don't judge it and bring shame to this process. 4.) Eat more vegetables and low sugar fruits. If you are looking to let go of weight, strive for at least 50 percent of each meal being veg/fruit. The nutrients from these foods prevent cravings that come from malnourishment. The fiber helps you get full faster and keeps your digestion humming along nicely. These are some of the basic steps I took to let go of over 70 pounds in just a few months. I had an aunt that also let go of a lot of weight during the same time. She worked REALLY hard...exercising daily, for an hour or more, eating special foods. I respect her immensely. I felt guilty sometimes that I was doing less and having similar results.

Streaks
Hi guys! I wanted to share some things that are helping me hold on during an extremely uncertain, sad, stressful etc time. I've realized that I'm a streaker 😁 could be adhd, ptsd, single mom-dom, or just a me-thing. But regardless, it WORKS for me!! That being said, today will be day 36(!!) in a row that I've done what I call my car routine. The car is the only semi-private, semi-safe place I have right now. But I can now say that while it still doesn't feel automatic or easy, it IS a good thing for me! I set a timer when I go in there and let myself FEEL for 10 minutes. Believe it or not this has taken a LOT of work to even get to that point. ESPECIALLY when my life isn't figured out yet and the never ending chores aren't "finished"😅🤣 After I had done that for a while, I added another what I'm calling "anchor": phone is turned OFF for the night by 10 pm every night. And it "sleeps" outside my bedroom. I did this for several reasons but one of them was that I kept falling asleep with earbuds in my ear. Ouch 😅 Last night was night 14 of that routine. From there, I've now added yoga (today will be day 5 of that streak) and breathwork (today will be day 4 of that streak) The reason I'm sharing all of this is not because I think it is impressive haha. I just truly feel that I've gone through what I have (and am still going through) for a reason. And I believe part of that reason is to BE the encouragement for others who are struggling. I got the book atomic habits and it actually reiterates a lot of what I'm doing But that helps the part of my brain(programming) that "doesn't believe stuff on the internet" haha. Anyway, I just wanted to share what is helping me. Not only to "hold on for dear life", but to truly build a foundation. If anyone else is trying to build a positive habit, I would love to support you! Love you guys!
Daily Vibe for 6/1/26: 🌝Blue Moon of 2026!🌝
I'm the biggest cheese in this one today. I wanted to give off "love yourself" vibes today. Today's the 1st day of the 2nd half of 2026 and this theme is what I am wanting to put out there. Whatever is going on in your life, be gentle with yourself as you go forward and take in all the experiences life has to offer. If this blue moon taught me anything, it taught me to reflect on what I've built and to know that I have everything I need to go forward! I know this energy has had to have hit the same way with others collectively, so I wanted to invite and encourage everyone to reach into the deepest and most authentic parts of yourselves and let that be your guiding light and compass forward. Gift yourself with the permission to be your absolute best with no apologies! I love you! 💚💚💚

Be different
We should be lifting each other and cheering each other on, not trying to outshine one another. The sky would be awfully dark with just one star🌟🌟🌟 Be the type of energy that, no matter where you go, you always add value to the spaces & lives around you. I am doing that in places like restaurants; when you enter the toilet in a mess, I just clean that and leave it better after me... let it shine ...let it be better...
