Hearing, Vision & the Diamond Dimension
Tu B’Av 5785
“He Who Has Ears to Hear…”
“The Lord is on the side of the generation of loyal lovers.” – Psalm 14:5
“Let anyone who has ears to hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying…” – Revelation 2:7
The Lightning Full Moon & Heaven’s Timing
On 8/8-8/9, 2025, Tu B’Av, one of the most joyous days on the Hebrew calendar, is illuminated by the Lightning Full Moon—a flash in the heavens, a prophetic signpost of awakening.
But Tu B’Av also marks a spiritual pivot—a moment of divine reversal, when mourning is turned into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and grief gives way to joy.
This isn’t just coincidence—it’s convergence. This is divine orchestration.
We are stepping into a season where:
- Hearing and obedience align with
- Vision and clarity, grounded in
- Joy and love, activated by
- Revelation and identity
God is inviting us to see, hear, and become—with joy as our compass and love as our legacy.
The Crystal Sea Dream: Seeing Through Heaven’s Lenses
Years ago, under a Blood Moon on Tu B’Av, I shared a dream—a vision—that feels more alive now than ever. In it, I was choosing between two sets of glasses. One was practical and linear. The other? Divine and dazzling.
This is a season to choose the glasses of the Crystal Sea.
On the 17th of Tammuz (a day of historic breaches), I had a dream:Someone from my past offered me a cheap pair of glasses. They gave me only a dull, flat view—grey tones, map lines, one-dimensional living.
But when I chose the Crystal Sea glasses—everything sparkled. Diamonds encrusted reality. Glory shimmered on things unseen. The view changed from a path to a dimension. God’s dimension.
“He sees you as a diamond. Will you see yourself—and others—this way too?”
This dream was an invitation:
- Reject the cheap vision of others' expectations or limited thinking
- Do not cheapen your anointing or wear someone else’s spiritual armor
- Put on the glasses of divine clarity, color, and calling
We will also begin Shiva d’Nechenta, the 7 weeks of divine comfort leading to Rosh Hashanah (5786). It is a window to prepare—not just physically, but spiritually—to HEAR what God is saying.
And what I hear is this:The Lord is reviving dreams and turning on the lights. He is revealing what He has done in the darkness. He is making visible what was hidden. And He is calling forth a generation of Loyal Lovers to rise and shine like diamonds.
A Word of Caution: Don’t Cheapen the Anointing
The dream also carried a warning: don’t settle for counterfeit vision.
The cheap glasses were a gift from someone trying to win me back. They seemed “spiritual,” but they lacked depth, sparkle, and divine origin.
Just like David couldn’t wear Saul’s armor, we cannot walk in someone else’s calling.
Don’t accept a “gift” that doesn’t carry God’s heart for you.
Don’t wear what isn’t yours to wear.
“Put on the armor of God—and the vision of Heaven.”
The month of Av calls us to HEAR. It is not enough to look forward—we must listen upward.
Ask yourself:
- What am I hearing?
- Whose voice am I tuning into? What voices have had your ear lately? Are they drawing you closer to God’s truth—or away from it?
- Am I still wearing someone else’s vision, mantle, or expectation?
This is the time to align your ear, your sight, and your heart with Heaven’s frequency.
Hearing: The Piercing of the Loyal Lovers
In my recent article on Shabbat Rosh Chodesh Av, I reflected on Job 12:11:
“The ear discerns words.”
To hear in Hebrew understanding is to comprehend deeply in the heart—to internalize truth and live it.
It’s not just about understanding with the mind, but about transformation from within.
Earing and Hearing: Preparing the Heart for Truth
I kept noticing a diamond or crystal earring in someone’s ear. It seemed minor, but after repeated sightings, I decided to look it up, I mistakenly typed “earing”—and what I found stunned me.
In the King James Bible, “earing” refers not to jewelry, but to plowing or tilling the soil—a preparatory act before sowing.
Spiritually, it carries profound meaning: Just as the land must be prepared to receive seed, so must our hearts be prepared to receive God’s word, truth, and blessings.
To earth your heart is to:
- Root your hearing in stillness
- Settle your spirit in God’s presence
- Allow the words of Heaven to take root in your soul
We often float in inspiration yet disconnect from integration. But the Word of God must not only be heard—it must be earthed.
The ear is not just for hearing—it’s an instrument of alignment.
Hearing is about:
- Perception
- Spiritual attunement
- Alignment with divine rhythm
In Exodus 21:6, when a servant chooses to stay with his master out of love, his ear is pierced—a symbol of willing obedience, covenantal love, and devotion by choice.
Ears to Hear = Heart to Obey
As we enter this new season, God is saying:
“Let Me pierce your ear again—not out of duty, but devotion.”
It’s time to shema—to hear and do what He is whispering.
In Hebrew, the word for "ear" is ozen — and it's etymologically linked to:
- Moznayim – balance, scales
- Zeman – time or appointed season
The ear is not just for sound—it’s for alignment with time, truth, and destiny.
In Exodus 21:6, a servant who chooses to remain with his master out of love, not duty, has his ear pierced at the doorpost.
This act is called “earing.”
It’s not just piercing—it’s covenant.
Not slavery—but sacred loyalty.
Not performance—but love that chooses to stay.
Earing symbolizes a heart that says:
“Where You go, I go. I’m not serving for reward—I’m staying because I’ve tasted love.”
The Call to Discernment
Hearing and earing—two seemingly unrelated words—are deeply connected.
One speaks to the act of receiving, the other to the process of preparing.
Together, they form a full picture of spiritual readiness and discernment.
This is more than a coincidence; it’s a gentle prompt from the Holy Spirit.
A call to a deeper level of hearing—not just consuming—but truly discerning.
Be careful who has your ear.
Not every voice carries truth. Some distort it.
Some shape how you see others, yourself, and even God.
Crystal Sea Glasses: Seeing Through the Eyes of God
This is the invitation of Tu B’Av 5785:
- See beyond the natural
- Discern true motives
- Put on Heaven’s lenses and look through the Crystal Sea—a place of clarity, light, and revelation
The Lord is looking for hearts that are PURE, not just platforms that are polished.
If you're feeling called into deeper discernment, you’re not alone.
This may be a season of earthing your heart—tilling it, softening it, preparing it.
Guard your spiritual ear the way a farmer guards soil before planting season.
Let your hearing go beyond sound. Let it reach the heart.
And let your earing—not the one in your ear, but in your spirit—be a sign: Your heart is being made ready for a new planting, a new word, a new move of God.
You Are Being Invited To:
- Hear at a deeper level
- See beyond the natural realm
- Receive revelation tailored for your calling
- Shine like the diamond you were created to be
Reflect:
Read:
Psalm 14, especially verse 5:
“For the Lord is on the side of the generation of loyal lovers.”
Revelation 2:7:
“Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says…”
Exodus 21:6:
“…and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl…”
- What glasses have you been wearing?
- Whose lenses shaped your vision?
- Where have you allowed past voices to define your future path?
- Are you ready to let God pierce your ear again—not for slavery, but for sacred loyal love?
- Is there any “soil” in your heart that needs to be tilled—areas where truth has a hard time taking root?
- How can you be more intentional about preparing your heart to hear and discern what God is saying in this season?
This Is Your Season to Sparkle: Shine Bright, Diamond.
You are being called out—not as a servant, but a Loyal Lover.
Not to walk a map, but to live in divine radiance.
Not to wear the world’s armor, but to wear the lenses of Heaven.
Don’t hide your shine. Don’t dull your vision. Don’t tune out His voice.
The Lightning Full Moon is not just a sign in the sky—It’s a flash of glory, a divine reminder:
You are His Diamond.
Prayer:
Father, I surrender my ears, my eyes, and my heart to You. Pierce my ear again—not in bondage but in belovedness. Remove every counterfeit lens and give me eyes like Yours. I choose the Crystal Sea glasses. I choose to see the diamonds. May I not only hear You clearly—but obey You deeply. Let me shine in Your image. Let me carry joy into this new season. Amen.
