One of the biggest shifts I’ve made at 51 is letting go of the idea that I need to “start over” every time I slip up.
I used to think a missed workout, a weekend off track, or a few poor choices meant I had failed and needed a reset. But that mindset kept me stuck in a loop for years always beginning again, never really building momentum.
Now I see it differently. I don’t start over anymore. I just continue. One imperfect day doesn’t erase the work I’ve done, and it doesn’t cancel the direction I’m heading in.
Progress, for me now, is about staying in motion especially when it’s not perfect.
