People enter relationships thinking love is some magical home renovation show.
“Before love: slightly insecure.”
“After love: emotionally remodeled with mood lighting and inner peace.”
Meanwhile love is standing there like:
“I never said I was a contractor. I’m a microphone.” 🎤
If you’re joyful, love turns you into a walking sunrise.
If you’re kind, love makes you softer than fresh bread.
If you’re insecure… congratulations, now your overthinking has surround sound.
Suddenly: “Why did they say ‘k’ instead of ‘okay’?” becomes a full FBI investigation.
Love doesn’t delete jealousy, fear, ego, or emotional chaos.
It puts them on a giant cinema screen with Dolby Atmos.
That’s why relationships feel spiritual.
Not because another person completes you… but because they accidentally open every dusty storage box in your basement labeled:“DO NOT TOUCH. CONTAINS CHILDHOOD.”
And somehow, between the tenderness, the triggers, the laughter, and the occasional dramatic stare out the window during arguments… we evolve.
Not fixed.
Revealed.
Love is less: “You saved me.”
and more: “Wow. I didn’t realize I came with this many hidden tabs open.” 😂
That's something I had never seen through this angle, but it really makes sense.
