Purim Blood Worm Full Moon Total Eclipse March 13/14
Tonight (March 13) at sundown begins the celebration of Purim. On this particular night in 2025/5785, also brings another cosmic alignment with the Full Blood Worm Moon Total Eclipse! Or is it the Total Lunar Eclipse of the Full Blood Worm Moon? No matter how you say it is a mouthful! LOL
Alignments are everywhere when your eyes are open. Since Rosh Chodesh Adar, Lent has started on Wednesday March 5, Ash Wednesday, and goes until Easter on April 20th. There are 43 days in the Lenten season. There are also 43 days from the beginning of Adar to the beginning of Passover, which begins on the Next Full Moon April 12th, the eve of Palm Sunday.
Rather than dive into the numbers right now (see comments), let’s look at a few key things in the book of Esther and this extra special Blood Worm Full Moon Total Eclipse that we can learn from and come into alignment with in order to implement in our lives.
UNMASKING what’s in the BLOOD
This Blood Worm Full Moon Total Eclipse reminds us that when we shine the light fully on our shadow it usually shows things hidden in our subconscious, which inevitably is connected to our bloodlines. It also has a way of revealing not only the beauty but the ugliness in people.
In the story of Esther we can see very good examples of how the masks people wear and what they are in alignment with steers the outcome of their destinies. In this one chapter in the Bible we can see how these figures in history allow their subconscious to run them; how to overcome the shadow self; and how this plays out in both Narcissistic and Empathetic individuals. Let’s dive in….
DIVINE ALIGNMENTS
In Esther chapter 2:19-23, we read about how Mordecai uncovered a conspiracy to kill the king. Mordecai was at the right place at the right time because he was allowing God to guide him this enabled him to foil a plot to kill the king. This incident would later save Mordecai’s life and with the help of his cousin/child Esther would also save the Jewish People.
Haman, on the other hand, aligned with himself and against God’s people. He placed himself on a pedestal and wanted to be worshipped.
HAMAN THE NARCISSIST
Haman had an opportunity to break the curse of death upon his family but instead he was filled with ego and self-righteousness and fueled by shame, anger and revenge. When Mordecai would not “bow” to him at the gate his fragile ego was scratched and his actions set himself up for a course that would not only take his life but his entire bloodline. When you are wounded and are being driven by your subconscious and ego/mask, then you can be blinded by the sense of entitlement and hold yourself to a higher esteem than others as if your life is more valuable than theirs. When this personality disorder becomes so entrenched that you cannot see the ugliness of the want or the desire for someone else’s health and well-being to be harmed in any way, let alone death, just because you don’t like their attitude or family, then you might just end up like Haman, hanging from your own noose!
Haman had an opportunity to break this curse upon his family line, yet he chose to continue to perpetrate it. In many ways, Haman called this punishment upon himself by choosing to continue not to look inside himself and find self-worth and self-love that comes from God. Instead he continued to project his shadow outwardly onto others, seeking validation, power, adoration and praise, while at the same time demeaning, degrading, and devaluing others to puff himself up and make him think and feel that he was better than everyone else. From this shame, you can see a very clear example of a Narcissist in Haman.
ESTHER AND MORDECAI THE EMPATHS
At the same time you can see examples of healthy empaths in Esther and Mordecai. A wounded empath would have just laid down and died and not rocked the boat. Esther had an opportunity to do that. She could have sat quietly by and not said anything, but Mordecai woke her up, “Do you think remaining silent will save you?” (Esther 4:12-14)
A narcissistic person (whether on the wounded empath or the disorder/psychotic side of the scale) will always, in the end, choose to save themselves. Even if it just means the protection of their public persona, they will do anything to uphold the story about themselves. A true empath will do what Esther did – fast and pray! With wise counsel in her Uncle Mordecai, she chose wisely. In Esther's case, she chose the lives of everyone else over not rocking the boat and was rewarded.
What is hiding in your shadow? What are the areas that, if someone pushes you enough, will come out and show themselves?
THE UNVEILING
What happens when the masks are removed and you realize that those who are your own blood are your Hamans? Or that you are your own Haman?
Esther was an orphan raised by a Righteous Uncle and then plucked from obscurity and made the QUEEN! She did not stay under the orphan or victim mindset, she broke the mold and not only did she save an entire generation of her people, she was cherished in the sight of her King! What made Esther beautiful was not the perfumes that she was bathed in or the silks and fancy clothing and jewelry that she was adorned in, it was the light that was inside of her that she would not let be extinguished. She came from the ashes of being an orphan but no longer wore that shame. Once she put her trust in God to hear her plea and protect her she unleashed the UNKNOWN and a boldness rose up within her and she could not remain SILENT!
She, like her uncle, was focused on duty to God first rather than man. She had her Creator on the throne of her heart not the earthly king/her husband.
By being empowered to speak out Esther had a boldness and humility that created a balance of showing honor without abandoning herself. But remember she also had community alongside her in the spirit.
LIFESTYLE
The energy from the prayers from all those who prayed and fasted along with her, allowed Esther to have the “back up” that she needed. I truly believe that the prayers of the righteous are heard and obstacles are removed through the energy of those prayers in the spiritual realm.
Things like synchronicities start to happen that confirm these alignments. Why on the night before Mordecai was about to be hung did the King just happen to be reading the annuls of the time Mordecai saved his life? What about things like God taking what Haman meant for evil for Mordecai and turning it back on his own head? I don’t think these things would have happened if there wasn’t corporate prayer and fasting. Unity is paramount when you are in a spiritual and literal battle for your life.
Don’t let the negative energies come in and thwart the power of your prayers by turning your gaze from the ONE who created you to the MAN who threatens you.
The Divine is not mentioned in the book of Esther, yet you see His presence through their LIFESTYLE - The prayer and fasting, the standing up for what is right, speaking the truth, and you see it through their grieving and how they love their people (neighbors).
But what about Accountability and Retribution?
The difference between Haman and Mordecai is Haman's idea of accountability was revenge and punishment. Whereas Mordecai allowed God to guide his steps and he ended up in the right place at the right time! In the end, not only did Mordecai get the status that Haman was conspiring for himself to receive, but Haman's people got the same punishment Haman meant for the Jewish people. RATHER THAN SEEKING REVENGE, LET GOD MAKE A WAY FOR YOU TO ASCEND. Let the accountability lie with the Divine and you just continue to stay in alignment and He will take care of holding the others accountable for their actions or the lack thereof.
So here we are in 2025/5785, there is a Blood Full Moon Total Eclipse on Purim… What have you learned about yourself in the last year? Will you allow the Shekinah (the Full moon represents the closeness of the Shekinah presence) to go deep within you and clear out all of the things that your subconscious has been blinding you from so that you can rise from the ash heap?
Don’t continue to allow what can be a life of freedom and fruition to become worm food!
FROM FULL MOON TO FULL MOON / LENT
For the next 28 days, commit to removing the ashes from your life. Commit to removing the grave clothes and be resurrected into new life once again!
There are so many lessons you can learn by peeling back the layers of each of these figures in history. However, if you don’t allow them to be a mirror reflecting back to you the things in your own life that need to be uncovered, then you haven’t truly learned those lessons. They say we follow the same pattern over and over in life, that has us going through the same things over and over again, until we learn the lesson and break the cycle.
Cycle breakers, “For such a time as this”, come into Divine Alignment and allow the veil to be removed to see what is hidden behind the masks. Allow yourself to see the truth about your programming and feel the pain and integrate it instead of sweeping it under the rug.
I think it’s time we as a people learn our lessons and not continue to follow the same pattern we always have for generations. In this season between Full Moon/Purim to Full Moon/Passover, learn the lessons. Stop carrying years and maybe even generations' worth of heaviness, self-doubt, shame, guilt, or whatever it might be for you. Stop holding yourself up to impossible standards, and remember to have compassion for yourself, because most people chose never to break the cycle and continue to pass it on generation through generation.
Let the light purify you so that you will no longer be swayed by stored memories and past resentments but gently love and comfort those hurt parts of yourself so that what you project onto others will be what you would like in return. In the story of Esther we see the power of intentions and what Haman wished for on his enemy totally backfire on him. During this Blood Full Moon Eclipse, be mindful of your intentions and what type of energy you direct towards other people; be sure it is not anything you would want to come back upon you. In the light of this full moon, don’t allow your Hamans to pull you out of alignment let them be totally eclipsed by you walking in your fullness and being empowered to break the generational curses/patterns/cycles in your life!
Chag Purim Sameach!
