So woke up with intrusive thoughts. And I really didn't want to do a meditation.
BUT! I DID do something about it.
I did some tapping.. and I FELT a difference.
Did a bit more tapping.. FELT more of a difference.
And then I got this epiphany:
Thoughts are like subscriptions.
I literally got this vision of back in the old days haha where say you subscribed to a magazine and every month it came. And one day you didnt. But the magazine company doesn't want to lose your business. So they knock on your door (intrusive thoughts enter your mind). It makes SENSE they're doing that, because you USED to "subscribe" to that thought.
So my point is, when the knock happens, you now have a choice. Do you CHOOSE to continue to subscribe to this thought? Or do you CHOOSE to do something different?
And I'm not even saying you have to on your own willpower come up with another thought. I'm saying, use a tool. Do SOMETHING to CHANGE the thought.
At least for me, it literally helped turn my day around at 7 am, from bed, so I'm grateful and wanted to share.
