Monday morning Blues
Mondays can be tough at times so In my opinion the best thing for that is being prepared early. So it doesn’t seem to drag. This morning I decided to hit a few sets of super set dips with dumbbell fly press , back and forth no break 4 sets basically to failure. Just to get the pump and it makes my day go a little easier.

Weekend Workouts
I would say to myself I’m gonna relax watch football hang out and eat. Then here comes the but … I get bored , irritable and discontent I need something extra to take my mind off of reality. So end up at the gym, and I have to say I think some of my biggest gains came On those days when i could wake up when i wanted and not to an alarm or rush to work. Let me break something else down at this moment this is the lightest weight I have ever been as an adult. I was always no less then 220lbs. Right now I’m 195lbs, it looks good. I’m just not used to that . So when your weight goes down your numbers are soon to follow. Because you have to maintain your protein intake and all your minerals and nutrients. I stopped lifting due to an injury I’m gonna continue to post each week and if I get more people on here possibly everyday. I finally feel my strength coming back, this time it took a lot longer to bounce back. It’s gotta be due to age and I’m no longer taking anything for performance, longevity or muscle growth. Today I went to the local YMCA where I am a member. I did triceps and some biceps , slight combos with upper back, and lower back. Triceps seated push downs 20 sets moving weight up and down pyramid sets and drop sets . Trying to get the best pump possible. Went back to back with seated bicep preacher curls about 12 sets same thing up down drop set. I started to tie in the back, but felt better on the dip machine. 8 sets mostly to failure every set , these are great with a group of people or your gym buddies. Did one arm tricep extension then to the rope pull downs. The intensity of my workout today was really impressive consistently I haven’t been going like I used to. Stamina was good, drive, some strength loss . That’s to be expected, gotta get my diet right now so I can put back on 20 lbs of muscle. The way I did it before was high protein intake , drinking milk consistently everyday. And heavy lifting at the gym. It’s very hard to gain when you burn off everything at your regular job each day. The job I do is physical labor sometimes and lots of running back and forth all day.

Weekend Warrior
It’s nice to relax on the weekends but I still try to find time to get in some lifting. If I do anything for my workouts it’s more then I had before I started that day towards something positive and motivating. And at the very least I garuntee you will feel better then you did before you started working out. This has helped me in so many different ways in mylife and throughout my journey. Battling so many demons and emotions in my head that I can’t get away from or ignore. It took my focus away from death that had happened growing up and never really dealt with it. I buried the pain for years and wouldn’t allow it to the light. It’s help me with other hardtimes of personal issues as well.

Morning inspiration
Here’s a little morning inspiration for you: Today is a new page — clean, open, and waiting for you to write something powerful on it. You don’t have to get everything perfect. You just have to start. Small steps stack up. Discipline beats motivation. And every bit of effort you put in today moves you closer to the life you want. Show up for yourself. Move with purpose. And remember — you’re capable of way more than you think.

Should I or should I not
These days 100% of the time when I’m done lifting I feel way better then I did before. It’s getting the body active and moving around. We need movement and action.
